Dear Family,
While you are probably waking up to
frost on your windshields, we are waking up to a light dust of yellow pollen
... I can't quite wrap my mind around the fact that it is January.
Guess what? We went to the dentist
today. And I didn't have a single cavity! You know what that means don't you??
:)
There is a dentist in our stake who asked us when the last time was that we had our teeth cleaned, then he gave us his card and told us to set up an appointment. For free. Who knew that being a missionary came with benefits? :)

I was asked to give a training on
charity at our District Meeting tomorrow. I am thinking about basing it off of
President Monson's talk at the Priesthood session, See Them as They May
Become." I am excited. And nervous.
Did I ever tell you that Sister
Pearce is in the stake primary presidency as well?
Okay, I had another member moment
this week. My friend, Sister Patton, and I were companions for a day, on
trade-offs. We went to a less active member's house. As we were on the door
step two friendly ladies walked by and waved at us. No one was home. We decided
to knock on a few other doors. We started to walk away from one when those two
ladies started walking back. I though, Heavenly Father must want us to talk to
them, because He is giving me a second chance. Well, they went to their
separate homes before we got to them. We caught one before she went inside and
I decided to ask her if she knew her neighbor, the less active member, and if
she knew of a time we could catch him. Then she started talking about the ward
and primary. I was a little embarrassed. But I don't think she knew that I
didn't know she was a member... Also, small world. It turns out that her and
Sister Patton are both from the small town in Utah, Roy. I still feel like we
were supposed to talk to her. Even if she didn't turn out to be that new golden
investigator. I felt the Spirit so strong as we talked with her and shared a
message with her.
I love getting your e-mails! They are a great kick off to my week! If you have any missionary moments, I would love to hear them! I love you all so much! And you are constantly in my prayers! Especially Darren and Kimberly and their family at this time.

Sister Scott
p.s. the questionnaire will make it

p.p.s. My birthday kind of snuck up
on me. I will get back to you on that.
