Dear Family,
Thank you so much for writing me! I also enjoyed getting your letter in the mail!
We
have four investigators right now. We had to drop quite a few of them
this week because they just weren't going anywhere. It was sad. But we
will find more people to teach. There are so many people here who have
so much potential! We talked to a kid in our ward at Stake Conference
yesterday. We went and saw a family he told us about last week, and he
said that each one of them told him individually how much they enjoyed
our visit. That made us feel so good! When we visited them they asked us
if we wanted to stay for dinner. How nice is that?! We are going to try
and visit them again this week and take a thank you note with some
brownies.
Sister Crowton had the wonderful opportunity of
speaking at the adult session of Stake Conference. :) Her talk was so
good! One thing that really stood out to me in her talk was the quote
her mom had sent her from Sister Hinckley, "I want the Lord to know that
I really lived." I have decided that I want the Lord to know that I
really SERVED. I am going to serve with all my heart, might, mind, and
strength even more this week.
I love you all so much! I am
impressed by all that you do. You are all so diligent and hard working.
"I love our family." (name that movie)
I hope you have a wonderful week!
Love,
Sister Scott
Side note: Janielle's birthday is this Friday, February 1. Send her a card if you wish!
